Maja Mataric Brandeis University (CS) teaching
14 robots cooperation - social skills.  Shoebox size machines
4 wheeler, 2tongs and a 2way radio.  Allows them
to triangulate their position with respect to two fixed
transmitters as they wander around Mataric's lab.
Allows them to broadcast their coordinates and other 
information to their neighbors.  Infrared sensors help robots find things
and avoid obstacles;  contact-sensitive strips tell them
when they've crashed.

    Each robot is programmed with a handful of behaviors
