These people are working on the Agra wall. What's interesting is all the pictures under Agra that are right next to this national treasure. Little villages, dilapidated houses, people collecting firewood. Right next to the Taj Mahal (which means Crown Palace).

A picture of the Prasad's living room. The Prasads are a family with three children, and their Parents. They have a small bathroom, a "living room" that doubles as a bedroom, and kitchen. Finally, they have a second bedroom.

Hindu Pilgrims
Location : Varanasi

Varanasi is one of the 3 holiest Hundu cities in the world. People make the pilgrimage of a life-time to come here and bathe in the (pulluted), but holy Ganges river. So many people come here to bathe that it is a huge pollution problem. 22 sewer exit points discharge next to the Bathing Ghats. The water has 1.5 million faecal colliform bacteria per 100 milliliters of water, where normal safe drinking and bathing wather has less than 500.

School Children

Here is a school in Bodh-Gaya (actually closer to Sujata). What was amazing was when I arrived, the entire school session ceased, and came out to pose for me. That would just be unheard of in an western school. A visitor arrives and the whole school shut down to pose efor a photo.

Begger

This man begging for money is in stark contrast to his spotless , pristine sunlit surroundings. Remember, this is Bodh-Gaya a Buddhist pilgrimage site. The birthplace of Buddhism, and a national treasure-city.

This monk is deep in meditation. He is at the Mahabodhi temple, one of the most peaceful and soothing spots on the earth.

Cow Herder.

This boy is a cow herder. Yes, he is naked.

Fishnet Craftsman.
Location : Jagdispur Village

This man is a friend of Vinay, the person I hired to take me to Mahakala mountain. He is a fishnet craftsman.
